Jennifer spends most of her walking hours in the kitchen, where she can be found tinkering with recipes for a class, writing about food or pouring over dozens of food blogs, cooking magazines and on-line culinary resources, all of which fuel her knowledge and inspiration. She attended The International Culinary Arts Center (formerly the French Culinary Institute) in 2011 completing an immersion program in Culinary Techniques. Shecontinued to hone her kitchen skills at The Blum Center for Health, a functional medicine and lifestyle education center in Rye Brook, NY where she served as Kitchen Assistant to the Culinary Director.
In 2013, Jennifer opened the doors of her own kitchen to the public, and has become a leading provider of culinary instruction in Westchester County, NY, specializing in culinary techniques, family education and farm-to-table cooking. She develops and leads culinary programs for a variety of local organizations and education centers.
Jennifer also creates culinary content for a variety of media platforms. She is a contributor and recipe developer for Plated.com, Mensfitness.com, Shape.com, Westchester Magazine and The Scarsdale Inquirer.
Jennifer lives in Scarsdale, NY and is active in her local community. She has been a leading advocate for improvements to the quality and nutrition of her district’s school lunch program. Jennifer formed and continues to co-chair a PTA school lunch and nutrition committee that seeks to meet these goals, liaising with parents, teachers and administrators. She also guest teaches at the Scarsdale Middle School, where she leads a cooking lesson on “Super Foods” with the Family & Consumer Science students.
Prior to answering her culinary calling, Jennifer served as the Marketing & Public Relations Director for a children’s media company, Silver Lining Production and was the Marketing Director and International Sales Manager for a leading specialty toy company, Eden Toys. During her career in the children's industry, she worked extensively with product developers, retail merchandise teams, publishers and licensing partners to build integrated marketing programs for many well-known children's brands. She holds a Bachelors of Arts from The University of Pennsylvania.
